Q: Is there a way to get an online degree in business from countries like Egypt?
Do colleges accept appliants from countries like Egypt? If yes, please state
A: Yes champion, there is. It's called WORLD WIDE WEB!!!! Maybe you should get your GED first. next question.
Q: I'm looking to get a certificate/degree online in business administration/human resources....?
I work from home so it's easier for me to do it online. If anyone might know of any good online colleges or trade schools that offer any of these in a short period. ex. 16/18 months.
Thank you
A: There are over 950 colleges with online programs, so there is definitely a program out there that should meet your needs.
Dozens of well-known, respected universities ranked in the Top 100 by U.S. News also offer online programs (Penn State, Syracuse, Boston U, University of Illinois, and so on).
To save money, your best bet is to look for a community college in your state of residence. If you take at least a half-time course load (2 classes per semester), you will qualify for financial aid at most colleges. Personally, I would steer clear of for-profit schools whose names are synonymous with online learning... and they cost more.
I earned my first two years at a community college in Texas offering online classes (Central Texas College). My classes were just $50 per credit hour (apx. $150 per course). Then, I transferred to Columbia College (BA in Business Administration) where I pay $205 per credit hour (which is about what I would pay at the state university in my city).
Unfortunately, when you type in online college in a search engine, most of the time, all you see are the for-profit schools and not the well-known schools... but they are out there.
Since I'm an online student, I keep a blog about online classes... some of my posts might be able to help you out:

If you want to earn your degree in 16 to 18 months, I'm assuming that you already have some college hours or have taken CLEP exams? If not, it may take a little more time to complete your bachelor degree. Here are some colleges with accelerated semesters: http://www.online-college-blog.com/index.php/category/accelerated-degrees/
If you are only interested in an online certificate, here's a list of several that might meet your needs:

Q: Can I earn a master's degree in business management entirely online?
I'm interested in the University of Phoenix online programs but I'm not sure if you can earn a master's degree 100% online or if I would have to take actual campus classes first then transfer to finish getting the degree.
A: I caution you - employers do not look on the U of P MBA and smile. Do you have any other realistic options?
An MBA, even more than most other degrees, is usually one that people get in order to advance their careers. Consider your options carefully. If at all possible, try to attend a program that is accredited by the AACSB. That's a type of professional accreditation that is a mark of high quality.
If it is impossible for you to go to another school - even another online school that's hooked to a more reputable "brick and mortar" university - in other words, if U Phoenix is your only practical choice, then consider them. But don't expect an MBA from there to jump-start your career like a degree from a uni with a better rep would. In fact, to be brutally honest, my past employers would get U of P MBA resumes and toss them. They would not be considered. Thus, I warn you. If you have the opportunity to attend a university with a better rep, then do so.
Good schools that I know for sure that offer distance MBAs include:
Duke University
Drexel
Carnegie Mellon
Penn State
Ball State
U Nebraska - Lincoln
Thunderbird (really intriguing program)
Babson
Worcester Polytechnic Institute
Rensellaer Polytechnic Institute
UMass Amherst
U Maryland
A highly respected business school - one of the top in the US - which does offer distance MBAs is Duke University.
Thunderbird's program is also fairly highly ranked, has a good rep, and is intriguing.
Q: how can i get my Associate Degree online in Business Management?
A: There are many websites with directories of colleges that offer online business degrees. Several are listed below. You can click through to the description of the schools and see if any appeal to you.
If you have a question about the quality of the school, consult an independent rating source like US News and World Reports' college survey.
Q: Whats the best online college to go to for getting a Business Degree?
I am in the Hotel business and I would like to seek a Business Degree.
A: Phoenix is the most popular and it is recognized because they have a study center. However, many professors have told me that online degrees still are not recognized. Thats a professional vs. the school.
I would recommend a community college in your area, and taking classes online every semester.
Q: Online degree in Business Admin,?
Im just starting online classes at CTU online and getting my Associates in Business Administration (after that I will be working towards my Bachelor's probably not online) I was wondering what kind of jobs can I get with an online Associate's degree? Also what are some salary expectations also? Has anyone gotten a degree from CTU online? Please help me out here!
A: CTU is a For Profit university that accepts nearly anyone and does not have a great reputation.
In general, an associates degree does not lead to good jobs. After all -- someone with just an associates degree has the same education as someone who dropped out of a BS or BA program after two years -- and not very many employers advertise for college dropouts.
An associates degree from a For Profit, online university is worth even less (though it cost more). You are smart to want to get your BS at a real school. You should think about getting your AA at a local community college instead of CTU.
Q: how many classes does it take to get a bachelor degree in Business information system ONLINE?
i am thinking about Western governors university. however, in their website they don't show the number of classes taken. so if you attended this online university or know about it. regardless of the general education, how many classes should i take to get into the major of business information system?
A: Bachelor's will at least be 120, Grad will be about 45+ credits including (15 - 21 for major) depending on how they run their programs.
I think it's best you request information through their website and you can even request a guidance counselor to give you a call so that you can hear what they have to offer. If you don't like what you hear, you don't have to commit, that's the good thing about all this!!
Good luck with your decision!

Q: Where can I get a good online degree?
So i thought about going to the university of phoenix but it is going to cost me around 10,000 a year to go there...Are there any other schools that are cheaper and still offer business degrees online>
A: A number of schools offer financial aid and scholarship programs for their online business degree programs. I would recommend contacting the schools directly to find out what options they offer. Employers frequently offer tuition reimbursement programs as well if that is an option. I would also make sure that any school you are considering is regionally accredited so that you can make sure that your degree will be recognized down the road by potential employers and other academic institutions.
This site has some good information on accredited online business degrees and some colleges for you to contact to help broaden your search:

Good Luck!
Q: Is it possible to have an online business in editing without a degree or diploma in editing?
Is there any program that qualifies you to be an editor, is really what I'm asking...
A: editing what exactly, you mean web design. You have to learn that. I do it all myself.
Q: What is the best online school for getting a degree in business?
...I have been at my current job for 10 years... I have no degree, and have worked my way up to the top... I am very loyal and good at what I do, but the owner is firing left and right and no one is safe, not even me. In case I am next, I am worried about starting over again at the bottom (I can't afford to, actually). I need a degree - online - fast - to help me get a higher start salary in case I am the next one let go... All the online schools seem shady - are there any that don't cost an "arm and a leg" and that are taken serious in the industry? Help! I'll appreciate any information you can help me with... Online degree in Business, Interior Design, Graphic Design, would all be good for me... Thanks for taking the time to read this and for your input! :)
A: Almost everyone is teaching online these days - probably even your local State U and community college system.
You are not confined to the "as seen on TV colleges"; even Harvard, Oxford, and UC Berkeley are teaching online.
You can't get a legitimate degree "fast" - the time required to get a degree is what it is, online or traditional. There are some ways to speed the process, but you can do that in the classroom too. An example is testing for credit with CLEP/DANTES/ECE or taking more semesters of classes than the typical two per year (most colleges teach at least three - some teach five). An associates degree requires 60 semester hours (about 2 years), a bachelor's requires about 120 semester hours (about 4 years), and a master's requires between 30-60 semester hours (about 1.5 to 2.5 years after the bachelor's) -- be skeptical of any degree program that implies anything significantly otherwise.
As for cost, the least expensive option will be the State U or community college system in your state. Next would be one of 'The Big Three' (Excelsior College, Thomas Edison State College, Charter Oak State College) with coursework done at the lowest providers you can find (Louisiana State, Brigham Young U., Cerro Cosa CC, etc...)
The highest level of respect "in the industry" will be exactly the same colleges that are highly respected for their classroom programs (Harvard, UC Berkeley, UCLA, etc...) These aren't the least expensive.
You don't mention accreditation. You want a degree from a regionally accredited college or university in order to have maximum utility.
the search tool at Petersons.com is very useful in finding quality online programs. You may be very surprised at exactly how many colleges are offering their degrees based on online coursework. There are 1000s. ☺ http://www.petersons.com/distancelearning/code/search.asp
The Big Three
Excelsior College http://www.excelsior.edu
Thomas Edison State http://www.tesc.edu
Charter Oak State http://www.cosc.edu
Inexpensive classes:
Cerro Cosa Community College http://cconline.cerrocoso.edu/
Louisiana State University http://www.is.lsu.edu/default.asp
Brigham Young University http://ce.byu.edu/is/site/courses/select.cfm?type=univ
Very well respected online courses:
Harvard University http://www.extension.harvard.edu/2007-08/DistanceEd/courses/
UC - Berkeley http://www.unex.berkeley.edu/online/
note: don't expect that online = easy; legitimate online courses are often much more difficult than traditional classroom courses. They just have the advantage of location and time convenience.
good luck
Q: As a business person, do you take an online degree seriously?
I am 26 years old and I have been working at least 2 jobs at a time since I was eligible to work. I currently work as a nite auditor in a hotel and in retail. I fell in love with the hospitality field, so I did some research and am attending the most accredited online school. Since I live in a very expensive area, I cannot afford to take time off to physically attend college, hence the multiple jobs. Awhile ago, I was commenting to a friend on how proud I am of my 4.0 GPA. She scoffed and boasted about her 3.7 'in a real college'. So I ask, am I wasting my time, or am I on the right track?
A: It depends how accredited and recognised is your degree. MBA nowadays do go online and are recognised. Possibly to list which is your college?
Q: Is an online Masters in Business Admininstration Degree really valid? if so, which university?
s an online Masters in Business Admininstration Degree really valid? if so, which university? is Liverpool university good or is there any other university that would be better?
A: There are loads of good, valid online MBA programs. It seems most universities are jumping on board and making this available. Lots of people who want their MBA are working adults and can't sit in class. Kaplan Univ. has a good program. Check out any school that has a good reputation for a traditional MBA program and you may likely find that they now have an online option as well.
Q: Looking for a good and not too expensive online university for bachelor in international business degree?
What school did you go with? Did you compare costs, which one ended up not being too much and how did you/do you like your online university?
A: here is a good way to find what you need:
