Q: What are the reasons for college students for achieving a degree program from an accredited online university?
Please only answer if you have achieved a degree or are in the process of working towards a degree from an accredited online university. Let me know what you also feel are the advantages and disadvantages. Also what school did or do you attend.

A: Online college is for people who are to lazy to go to traditional college. Disadvantage is you dont get the eperience one gets when sitting in a class of peers. Some companys question how much you really know about a subject when you did everything online with no hands on training. There are many disadvantages..... not so many advantages if your genuinely wanting to learn.

Q: what is the cheapest accredited online degree college that I can find to get my BA, Liberal Studies degree.?
I want a degree, but I am off work from an injury, so I don't have a lot of money. I do want to get a degree. I already have an associate, in liberal arts. I don't want to go into a classroom.

A: I'm going to Penn State right now, you can do the whole degree program online. It's also one of the few that offers a B. A. in Liberal Arts that way. They use Federal Financial Aid, so if you've filled out a FAFSA you could possibly qualify for grants or loans. Their tuition is competitive with the other colleges I looked into. They also did a great job transferring in previous credits I had built up.

Q: Does anyone know of an accredited online college or degree program for a BS in Zooloy,Biology, or Realated?
Does anyone know of an accredited online college or degree program for a BS in Zooloy,Biology, or Realated? It would make life easier, but I know it is rare becuase of lab work, but heck it is the 21st century.

A: You should check out www.DirectoryofOnlineSchools.com it is a good website where you can find a university base on your major and other data. But if you are willing to make more money after graduating you should rather take classes "in a classroom" because employers know that there is a great poosibility you cheated for online tests and also that those degrees are not very convincing. Good luck and its an excellent choice of degree

Q: What is the fastest accredited online BS degree available?

A: so you want a BS in BS

Q: What factors or motivators encouraged you to complete an accredited degree from an online institution?
I'm conducting my dissertation study on this very question and I am looking for participants from around the country. Looking for your opinion regarding the question and have you graduated or about to graduate and when?

A: It was the ability to pay them in virtual monies once the course had been completed. Courses were so easy that I could have taught them myself (yes, I am a teacher). I have already graduated and now have two degrees....One in business education/computer studies and the other from the online school in business management (it was a joke about the virtual monies).

Q: Is there any way to get an online degree and not have to travel anywhere at any point during study?
i want to get an accredited degree online but i can't leave home since im a mom. i know most schools need you to fly occasionally for testing - how can i avoid that?

A: It will depend on which degree you are seeking...and the authenticity of the University. There are some Universities that offer both on campus and online courses and degree programs. If a college or university has a degree program that is completely online, then you might not have to travel. I completed a master's degree in library science and by my own choice it was 75% online and 25% on campus. For the online classes, the testing was done online. The courses did not have any required meetings on campus that could not be worked around for various circumstances.

Q: What online schools offer an accredited Bachelor Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management?
I am looking for a FULL (not just a completion program because I have no transfer credits) Bachelors Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management at an online school. It needs to be accredited and preferably not very expensive. I'm having some trouble finding many online schools that even offer this degree. Can anyone provide me with some helpful suggestions?

A: I just did a web search and came up with a whole page of schools that offer this degree: http://www.elearners.com/online-degrees/hotel-and-hospitality-management.htm Online schools are not cheap. For the most part, they are private, and charge the same rates as a traditional private school. However, almost all colleges offer some types of Distance Learning or Extension Degree programs online now. A couple that were listed on this site were state schools--Univ. of Mass., and Univ. of Delaware. Contact your state college or university or look on their website and see what they have to offer. Can't hurt to look.

Q: Do you know of an ABET Accredited BSEM Online degree?
I am looking for an online univerity or college that is offering a BSEM (Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management) that is both ABET and regionally (NOT nationally) accredited. I doubt that one exists but I figured I would give it a shot. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in Advance! -Matt

A: I've been hunting for an ABET online program for a long time, and the only one I've found is University of North Dakota. They have Electrical, Chemical, Civil and Mechanical Bachelor degrees. The out of state tuition is kind of high. They used to have a distance program that took care of prerequisites like Calc, english, etc... at a much cheaper price, and they then apply those credits to your program of choice. The only catch to all this is that the lab courses are condensed into one week, on campus labs. Everything but the labs online. Check them out at und.edu, distance engineering degree program - Justin

Q: Is there an accredited online college I can "transfer" to to earn a marketing degree?
