Q: is there any aviation schools or courses in Seattle?
I'm 17 years old and my parents are being transferred to Seattle, so i want to know if there are any aviation courses, schools (colleges), and such of that matter in Seattle because thats what i'm interested in. Thank you to all who help me.

A: Hi I was a resident of Seattle for 30+ years and received my commercial pilots license and flight instructors rating while there. There are numerous flight schools in and around the Seattle area. In the greater Seattle area the only schools are at Boeing field. Renton, just a couple miles SE of Seattle has a couple at Renton field. There are too many to list but I received most of my instruction at Renton and got my float rating at lake union in the heart of Seattle. Good luck and when you get your first flight you will be hooked for life. Flying your own plane or just flying for the sheer pleasure is the ultimate reward for the effort.

A: ive lived in california until 8th grade. compared to washington, the education in california is better in my opinion. they are way more advanced. the safety is not so great here either. i thought it would be a safe and quiet neighborhood here, but it actually has more crime and a lot of stuff gets stolen whether it's at school or at home, which by the way is in a condominium complex.

Q: What are the Fashion Design schools in Seattle?
I'm looking for a legitimate University or College where they offer Bachelors of Fine Arts that specializes in Fashion Design. I am not interested in the ff: Art Institute of Seattle or International Academy of Design and Technology

A: There are two other choices you have for fashion schools (or at least the degree) here in Seattle. One is Seattle Central Community College: www.seattlecentral.edu and the other is New York Fashion Academy: http://www.newyorkfashionacademy.com Having gone to the Art Institute myself (and was extremely disappointed in their so-called education) I have researched both of these schools and have heard really positive things about both of them. Seattle Central is cheaper, while NY Fashion Academy is more specialized. But, they both have really good reputations in the "real world". Good luck with your decision!

Q: Are there any FREE christian schools or academies near Seattle?
I am looking for a free highschool christian academy or school near Lake City, Washington. I can ride the school bus there if its too far. It has to be free of charge or cheap and affordable.

A: The city of Seattle is a great place to live! You have all you need! There is the ocean, the mountains, the forest and the desert only two hours away! Getting a job here is pretty easy right now, especially if you are into computer science and technology. Microsoft and Amazon.com are both headquartered here. There is also Boeing. The living cost here is very high, but job generally pay more money here. Gas is very high but Seattle is worth the high price. Schools here are great. The Bellevue School District is one of the best in the country. It has three top schools, International School, Interlake, and Newport High. If you are considering colleges, one of the best state schools in the country is here. The University Of Washington! Hope this helps!

I am looking for one day race shool package to give to my husband for his birthday in september. I am looking for any type of car racing school where the car is included in the package. Preferably F1.

We are planning on moving from Alaska. We are looking for lots of culture wherever we live. We don't want to live in Seattle because of the traffic. We are looking to buy a home within the 200-300 thousand dollar range. Anyone know any place that would fit for us? Thanks for all your help people!

A: I live in Seattle. Welcome to our beautiful city. houses are expensive here, but prices are going down for the 1st time in several years. Try West Seattle. You are 10 minutes away from downtown and prices are slightly lower there.

Q: What is the best place just outside of Seattle to live, that's inexpensive, low crime rate, with good schools?
My husband is considering applying for a police officer position in Seattle and we are debating if the pay is worth the cost of living.

A: North Bend is a small town about a 35 minute drive to Seattle. There is no inexpensive living until you get over the mountians and that gets you too far away to be able to commute. North Bend is a very nice town with very good people and very few problems. It has a nice blend of old town and new town. It's worth a look!
