Q: what is the reputation of Abraham Lincoln School of Law?
Abraham Lincoln School of Law is non-ABA approved. I want to know the reputation of the school.

A: I haven't heard anything about that particular school, it would be best to get the opinions of attorneys and judges in the area. However, I would not recommend that you go to a non-ABA approved school. You will not be able to practice outside of your home state, you will make less money, and it will be much harder to get a job. If you are going to spend 3 years in law school, you want to be able to do something with your degree once you get out. Think carefully about what you want to do as a lawyer - make sure that a degree from that school is going to get you where you want. *edit* I looked up the school - it is an online school? Let me tell you, as a law student from a reputable school in LA (Loyola Law - Johnny Cochran was an alumn), if you get your degree from there, it won't be seen with any respect. When you go to law school, you learn to think like a lawyer, and your in class experience is what teaches you how to approach the law. If you take courses online, it will be much harder for you to pass the bar (if you are even allowed to sit for it) and it will be basically a waste of time. If you want to go into a legal career, and traditional law school isn't an option for you, think about becoming a paralegal - you can probably find a program near you at a university. With an online legal degree, you aren't going to be able to get a job that pays much more than if you were a paralegal. However, if law school is your dream, you should work hard and apply - there is a wide range of ABA approved schools across the country that take many levels of students. Take a look at my other answers in my profile - I have answered many questions about the law school application process. Try to go the traditional way... you will probably be wasting time and money with an online degree.

A: I would suggest that you beware! I looked at this institution's website and found not one word about accreditation. Also, the site lists the faculty and their positions but there is nothing about the degrees they have earned. It doesn't pass the common sense test for a law school to offer its entire course online when a law student must have access to a large library of law books and must practice arguing cases while his professors critique him.

A: It would be about 2.5 to 3 miles. It depends on each person as to whether they consider 2.5 or 3 miles a long or normal walk.

I'm new to homeschooling and still want a fairly rigorous education. I'd like contact with teachers to be good, as well as have asignments easily sent and viewed. I also don't wan't to waste time with unnecessary required courses. I'm also looking for adequate math (precalc or calc) classes. A: i go to unl online. through the high school. you have the option of pre-cal, but not calc, unless you do that part through the college. there is help on anything that you need, and any questions that you have, are forwarded onto the actual professors that work their. you only have to take the classes that you want to take that fill the credit for your graduation, and they have like 500 classes to choose from. you are required one of every core class a year, and then like 2 electives, or something like that, and if you have previous high school credit, it rolls over. they even offer really good electives, such as digital photography, and piano theory, there is something for everyone. you can go to the homepage,a nd they will send you a free imformation packet (it is more like a book lol) that has all of the course descriptions, the requirements,and the paperwork to send in if you want to take any courses. they do online only, print only, and one that is a little of both. i hope that this helped you out some, and made your decision a little easier here is the main link if you dont already have it. nebraskahs.unl.edu

I am looking into highschools and one of my choices are Lincoln Park High School. I don't live in Lincoln Park, but I really want to go there. I checked the website, but I couldn't realy get what I was looking for. -Would it be possible for me to attend the school, not living in Lincoln Park? -Would I be able to attend regular classes or would I have to fill out an application for magnet classes? A: I go to Ashford University in Clinton, IA. It depends what you are majoring in and cost. One class costs $1011. 5-week classes each through your Bachelors and then 6-weeks for your Masters. Ashford is rated above Lincoln in almost all areas, and the class setup is real easy to understand. Aimee- enrollment advisor if interested; she is mine. Look it up..

A: I graduate from Abraham Lincoln HS and taught there as well. I was also a teacher trainer of its summer school./ It was good when I was there. I no longer have contact with the school but you can find out current information by looking at eh sites below. Part of the answer to whether you should go to Lincoln also depends on what your alternatives are. Good luck.
