My school only has an ONLINE option through BYU in order to graduate as a junior. To do this, i have to sign up for extra classes if i want to graduate high school junior year. I'm considering applying to college this year, as a high school junior, and was wondering what universities (looking for well-known, reputable) I can apply to. I know I can do PSEO, and am not interested in knowing more about this program.

A: Why are you applying now? If you're planning to leave high school a year early, you'll probably need a GED or other proof that you've finished the equivalent of a high school education. If you're not planning to graduate early, colleges aren't going to consider you a year early. Don't waste your money.

A: Our school system used to be broken up like this: Elementary School Grades K-6 Junior High Grades 7-9 High School Grades 10-12 A few years after I graduated they built a new middle school in a different location and spilt the district into the following: Elementary School Grades K-5 Middle School Grades 6-8 High School Grades 9-12 I think it really has to do with the size of the district and the space they have to house classrooms in how a district separates grades into their respective schools.

Q: I want to do community hours in a Chimpanzee research center. I am in HIgh School junior, where can I do this?
I've always wanted to work with chimpanzees I love them, I am in High School and I am a Junior or about to become one in August. A: It would most likely depend on how strict your local theater is. Some theaters don't even ask for ID, while others have been cracking down and wanting to see it. You could try asking around about the rules in your theater. Other than that, the only way to know is to try.

Q: Advice for a first time High School Junior doing Track and Fied?
What advice would you give a junior in high school who is doing track and field for their first time? He is not so good with fast runs/sprints but decent in long runs. What evens would you recommend? Someone help!

A: i have been running track and field for quite a while and i truely enjoy it. there is an event for everybody. i would recommend you to run at least 2-3 miles everyday to build up good stamina, because you are ganna need it :). i think you should try running some miles and 1600m and 3200m and see how you like them. but you really should try a variety of events during your first year and see which ones you like and are good at. hope i helped, good luck

I know that some colleges accept high school juniors if their grades are good enough and stuff, does anyone know where I could find more information about this or which colleges do this. I don't need people telling me that it's rare or that they don't know, only real answers please. Just to add on, I live in California (if that makes any difference) and I have excellent grades.

A: you can do a "jump start" program at your high school which combines your senior year with your first year of college. it is run through a community college and maybe some local state colleges. check it out and talk to your guidance counselor asap!

A: you're too young to love. concentrate on school more and love after. even if school means less then love, sometimes we have to sacrafice

My Japanese friend needs to compare music textbooks of Japan and the United State's for her graduation thesis. She studies music education of young students. She wants to get textbooks elementary and junior high school students use, but she needs to know the titles first. Could you name the titles of your books you used or your children use now?

A: for band, kids use Standard of Excellence books(well at least i did) in younger grades um i played piano and used Suzuki, Alfred, Bastien, and the Neil A Kjos Piano repertiore series( The first 3 are for beginners like really little kids) Good luck on her thesis:)

Q: Where is a good place to host a high school junior prom?
I'm the class president for my high school and I'm trying to find a good place in the Bay Area to host this year's junior prom. No one in my class wants it held in Oakland, where we live but I can't seem to find any nice and affordable venues in other cities such as Alameda or San Francisco. We're expecting about 200 guests to attend the prom and our budget is pretty tight. We haven't been fundraising much the past two years and now, we have to raise enough money this year. Please help~!!

A: I would recommend maybe the Gift Center in SF... or maybe looking into some of the hotel banquet halls in the hotles around Union Square. My senior prom was held in the Westin St. Francis on union square, granted our budget was failry large... we still got a really good rate. Good luck and i hope this was of some help!
