A: 1.) Emory -- Very strong in business (Like Top 5 for Undergrad) and is the strongest of the GA schools for political science. Good luck getting in.
2.) Georgia Tech --Better business program than Georgia. Better school, in my opinion, than Georgia
3.) Georgia --Better political science program than Georgia Tech

I know for sure that I'm going to be attending a Georgia college due to need for the HOPE scholarship.
I also know for sure that I want to be qualified to teach English/Language Arts for either Middle or High School when I graduate.

That is my only restriction, other than need for HOPE.
A: Well you have MANY options of schools in Georgia but since you want to focus on becoming a teacher (education) I would apply to the University of Georgia (UGA) because they have an excellent College of Education that is very competitive and well known. Their English department is also very big and there are so many different classes you can take.
Your major should probably be English and you can minor in anything you want but if you really like literature then you could minor in Classics or some Cultural or Comparative Literature focus of study.

These are within the Atlanta district, but there are community colleges also in Marietta,LaGrange, Athens, and Dalton.

A: If you are a good enough student (minimum 3.0 GPA), then Georgia's HOPE Scholarship program will pay for all tuition for 120 hours in a public, accredited school. For private colleges, you will only receive a few thousand dollar scholarship for tuition (don't remember the exact amount). Under certain conditions, HOPE will also help pay for your books.
