Q: What store in Chicago sells Clark Atlanta University and Spelman College gear?
I'm looking for stores in the chicago area that sell college shirts/gear from schools in the south like CLARK ATLANTA, SPELMAN, GEORGIA TECH, EMORY etc.

A: None that I know of. Don't the colleges have websites you can buy directly from?

Q: Ladies should I go to Spelman College or Clark Atlanta University?
As a high school junior I just wanted the personal opinions of women who have attended or are attending spelman and CAU. I am thinking about going to these two schools and wanted to know some pros and cons. I have been to both schools websites and I am really leaning on spelman. If anyone can give me a little more insight on what the student life is like I would appreciate it!!!! Thanks.

A: Well I go to Clark Atlanta University its a good school but there are alot of distractions. There financial enrollment process takes forever. The people here are okay I would call it ghetto girl city.Parties all the time here its annoying for me because Im a sophmore going into my junior year as a transfer student.I was placed in a freshmen dorm and it sucks its noisy and I cant study at times. If your a party hard kind of person Welcome to Clark Atlanta Univerisity.I mean Clark Atlanta is a good school for academics dont get me worng. But I would advise you to go to Spelman College, very classy ladies and good with academics as well.

Q: university of washington/ lewis and clark college?
i've been looking into lewis and clark college in portland, as well and university of washington in seattle. i was wondering if anyone has attended, or knows any information from experience. was was your experience like? how were the teachers/students? do they have a good LGBT community? etc. etc.

A: i attend lewis and clark college. i came here to play basketball and ended up getting kicked off, oh well. anywho to answer your question. the experience at lc has been a unique eye opening experience for me. i come from arizona where it is very plastic and clickish. there were a lot of frat boys and tan girls with implants, thats all i knew. when i first arived on the campus i remember seeing "hippy" kids running around the campus with their shoes off lol. seeing them play hacky sack in the lawns. playing ultimate freezbie in the lawns. i have never seen anything like this and have come to enjoy becuase i find that, for the most part, most of the kids here are being themselves. i will be the first to admit that there are a few imposter hippies around here though. there is a great sense of community on the campus since it is so small. the largest class ive had has been about 17 people. the teachers are all very passionate about what they do. every kid that i know is brilliant at lc, even the ones that play sports! i will admit that it is very academically challenging. ive busted my ass here and have only gotten a 3.0. the worst part about coming here would be if you lived in the dorms as it can be hard to find things to do or will end up doing the samething every weekend. but if your focus is school you will be alright right. im assuming you mean gay and lesbian community and transgender and stuff. it seems good to me. i know that there is a place below the cafeteria where there is a huge vagina for the womens shelter place. im know sure of what it is but its rather intimidating lol. the thing that is interesting about the gay people at lewis and clark is that they dont look like the gays that you see on tv. like the gay dudes here dont even look "gay". and yes i know that not all gay people look a like but where i come from there arent any gay people. the campus is beautiful all over. i must get back to finals now. you should come on a visit and i will show you around. im serious dont hesisitate. good luck

Q: Lewis and Clark College Information?
I was looking at Lewis & Clark College (I'm a High School Junior) and I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on the school? On the influence of L&C's location (Portland, Northwest in general). I come from southern California, but I do enjoy the rain and cold weather. Anything about it helps, from prospective students, current students, alumni, or others who know about the school.

A: I go to school in Washington & I know a lot of people planning to go to L&C for their graduate studies. I think it is a pretty small school, I think it is more known for its unique graduate programs. I also have a friend who is going to another school in Washington and she is going to study abroad in Germany through a L&C college program. Sorry, this probably isnt the most helpful info, but what Im suggesting is that it may be more known for its graduate programs. Maybe you can apply to University of Portland, or UO (cool campus!). or even UW or WSU (Washington pretty much has the same weather & geographical features lol. & then you can apply to L&C if you are going to grad school. oh & if you have any questions about schools in washington, or UO, or whatever feel free to ask me if you want. Good luck!

Q: Which is better: Seattle University or Lewis & Clark College?
I'm at Mount Holyoke College right now, but for family/health reasons I need to return to the pacific northwest to be closer. Which is the better option. My dream is attending Stanford law school or UC-Berkeley and I do want a college ripe with connections to internships and jobs. Of course the colleges will have their PR copy to dictate, but, in your unbiased opinion, which is better?

A: They're both good schools. I have a better impression of Lewis & Clark academically, but that's pretty subjective. Seattle U is considered liberal among Jesuit colleges, but it's still Catholic, which means it will be more conservative than most colleges without a church affiliation. Lewis & Clark is on the more liberal en of the scale. If you have a particular preference in that regard, you might consider that.

Q: padaric mccrary at clark college in 1982 playing football?

A: Padraig McCrary. What the hell is your question?

Q: Do you know anything about Lewis & Clark College or Carleton College?
L & C is in Oregon, and Carleton is in Minnesota. I'm interested in these schools and I hope someone can give me some input! Thanks so much, answers are much appreciated :) Also if you are familiar with the weather around Portland, Oregon and Minnesota that'd be extremely helpful. Thanks.

A: Carleton has a great academic reputation (nationally), Lewis and Clark much less so. If I were looking at grad school applicants from each school, with similar test scores and GPAs, and both had great letters of recommendation, I'd favor the candidate from Carleton because of the nationally-recognized rigor of its programs of study.

Q: Which is a better college: Clark Univ or North Eastern? 10pts for the person who has the best answer...?

A: Northeastern has more of a national reputation than Clark. Additionally Northeastern is a bigger school with better facilities overall. Lastly, the coop program at Northeastern is a valuable asset. Working real time in the field in which you major in. Good luck!

Q: Is Lewis and Clark College in Oregon a good school? Why?

A: The best way to find out info is to contact a student. You can find some contact information for Oregon colleges here. http://www.collegereviewed.com/Oregon-Colleges-Universities.html The students always seem to know what's up better than outsiders since they get to experience the classes and the lifestyle.

Q: what number did will clark wear in college at mississippi state?

A: He wore #23.... at least according to his "WILL CLARK 05 TOPPS PRISTINE COLLEGE YEARS" card.

Q: Tell me about Lewis & Clark College?
Thinking off applying. I'm a liberal, english/arts student who is interested in studying abroad and becoming more politically active.

A: Lewis and Clark sounds like a good fit. They are good for study abroad programs and political science courses. The school's also very liberal, environmentally active, 60% women. It's very secluded, quaint, small - but most students take the oppertunity to study abroad and are very internationally focused.

Q: what is clark college colors?

A: The one in Iowa is Navy Blue and Gold.

Q: lewis & clark college?
what do you think about this school? i would really like to be in portland, which is how i found l&c, but i do not know much about it. i'm pretty sure i can get in (act-30, gpa-3.8 unweighted), but might not be able to visit... any info (how long does it take to get into the city? what is the campus like? how challenging is the curriculum?) would be much appreciated thanks!

A: It's are really great private college and has a great school of arts and sciences. It also offers grad school in education and counseling and has a very good law school. It has a beautiful campus in SW Portland. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to get to downtown Portland from Lewis & Clark College. There's also good public transportation available. The curriculum is challenging but not overpowering. I think you'd love it. Here's their website: http://www.lclark.edu/

Q: can I trasfer to clark from a non-HBCU college?
Like, if I am attending Columbia Chicago College, can I transfer to Clark Atlanta University?

A: as long as you're in good standing with the previous university and meet the admission requirements, you can transfer to any school. http://admissions.cau.edu/jump/application.asp#2
