I'm looking to enroll in online courses through this school. Does it have a Web site?

A: There are several Central Community College's in the U.S. alone, however, the one in Nebraska is affiliated with a Kearney Learning Center. If that's the one you're talking about, the URL is http://www.cccneb.edu/igsbase/igstemplate.cfm?SRC=DB&SRCN=&GnavID=21&SnavID=250&TnavID=179 which you could have found by doing a simple Yahoo search.

Q: SEATTLE UNIVERSITY or SEATTLE CENTRAL COMMUNITY COLLEGE?
which one is better in your opinion and why?

A: Depends on the classes. I'm currently enrolled in the Publishing Arts program at SCCC. My current school is well known & has a wonderful reputation for the fine arts & Publishing Arts programs. However, I can't say the same for other classes... ONLY because I do not know. But in my opinion, SCCC blows SU out of the water. (:

Q: community college course for central sterile processing technican?
I'm interested in taking a community college course for central sterile processing technician. However in my area, there aren't many jobs for that. Any part of the USA where those type of jobs are plentiful?

A: Try researching areas that have several or large hospital/health centers, since that is where you are most likely to find a job. Do you have any other health care training? Because that is an added plus (for ex, surgical tech or nurse or medical billing) or a more appealing career choice for your area. Good luck.

Q: somebody know how central florida community college works and if it allow u to get the bachelor?

A: Most community colleges only allow you to get a 2 year degree such as an AA, AS, ATA, etc. Most universities however have a direct transfer agreement so that you can transfer to a university that offers a 4 year degree, and they will wave your general education requirements completely. (Thus, only two more years for a 4 year degree, which makes sense.) It's a cheaper option, especially if you don't know what you want to major in yet. I suggest searching for a website for the particular college, and contacting someone at the registrar to get more info on how it works specifically at that college.

Q: how can i get to central piedmont community college?
charlotte NC charlotte NC

A: From where? Are you in Charlotte, N.C.? Do you need driving directions? Or do you need transportation help, like which bus to take? CALL the college and ask them best way to get there from your location. OR...use Mapquest or googlemaps.com and enter your address and the address of the college and it will give you driving directions. If you are ready to attend college...I hope you will soon be able to ask a question more clearly and sharpen your problem solving skills.

Q: Can a community college transfer to an out-of-state college?
I attend Valencia Community College in central Florida and I want to transfer to NYU after two years with an associate in arts degree to go to a Bachelor's Degree then a Masters.

A: It depends entirely on the receiving college, although most community colleges are regionally accredited, so generally the answer is "yes". You should write to NYU about their admissions and credit transfer policies, and ask for recommendations as to which courses you should be taking now. A letter to the head of the department in which you will carry your major asking for course recommendations wouldn't be a bad idea either. Make sure your letters look and sound professional. Spelling and punctuation count, and if you get a reply, be sure to send a "thank you" card.

Q: How important is a college degree in the film industry?
hey, my friend is interested in making films. she's currently enrolled in a 4-year art school in vancouver (emily carr), where she will receive a bachelor's degree in media studies. however, she really loves living in seattle and is considering coming to seattle and attending seattle central community college to get an associates degree in film & video communications. i know that in general a bachelor's degree is more appealing to employers than an associates, but is there any reason to believe that this concept holds true in the film industry?

A: A lot of people are trying to get into the film industry. The more education/experience/whatever that you have that sets you above the rest is going to give you the push you need to make it in. Unless you can somehow otherwise prove you've got outstanding talent or do it independently. I'd say it's a good idea to go with the Bachelor's degree.

Q: Is it possible to apply for more than one associates degree at a community college?
I've been taking classes at Central Texas College towards degree in general studies and I've already met the requirements for that degree. I've also been taking business management classes and used those credits as electives. However, I'm just a few credits short of a degree in applied management, so if I take those last classes to fulfill that degree, can I apply for the two degrees at the same time?

A: You would need to find that out from your college./
