Q: Can we transfer the credit we have from online college to regular campus college?
Is online college have the same quality as regular campus college?
A: Yes, you can transfer that credit, but it is up to the school receiving the credits to evaluate what credits and how many are worthy of being transferred. A lot of times they will tell you, "Oh, yeah, we'll take your credits" and then when your transcript gets officially evaluated you end up with half or less transferred.
It depends on the online school you went to. Some have a bit higher regard than others. And then other, not much at all.
Q: How much do dog trainers make? Also do you know where I could find a campus college in the US for dog trainers?
I needs to be a campus college and it needs to be in the US as close to north carolina as much as possible thank-you for all your help i appreciate it very much.
A: There are a few schools in N.C. that I've listed below. I don't know anything about them though.
If location isn't an issue, I recommend the Tom Rose School in MO.
http://www.tomrose.com/
As for money....it varies greatly. If you sign on with an agency that contracts to PetCo and such, the pay is minimal.
As a private trainer you can set an hourly rate of $25 and up, depending on your level of knowledge and experience in the various areas of training, from basic obedience to sporting, show,SAR, law enforcement, and protection.

Q: I want to start a college campus in my area. How should i go about getting funding and support?
I want the school to be a community college or systems campus stemmed from a bigger university.
A: Go to your local bank and take out a loan.
Q: What's the easiest way to market to an entire college campus?
I am starting a business where I would like to reach every college-going student on a particular campus. Is there a mailing list that I can get a hold of, or do colleges usually keep that private? Again, I would like a marketing strategy that reaches nearly every student on campus. Posters and flyers in the school's library, cafeteria, etc., just won't do.
Thanks for your help!
A: Put up flyers on bulletion boards on campus.
Myspace and facebook.
Ask for the master email list
Q: What's the easiest way to market to every single student on a college campus?

A: Most colleges keep their mailing lists private, but you can try to talk to the business department or someone in charge about what you have and what you'd like to offer. Maybe even ask them to send out the mailing, or pay for it to go in a package that all the students get, that way the mail list stays private and yet your business still gets out.
Q: What is a good way to raise money on a college campus?
My group and I are trying to think of creative ways to raise a lot of money to go to Guatemala to help a village build water tanks. I go to The University of Tennessee and need to get some money out of the students and people here on the college campus. Anyone have some good ideas that don't involve alcohol? (it's a dry campus) Haha.
A: I have a website that I made just for this. Tell me how many people are involved.Email me and I'll give you more details.
Q: What BRAND of clothes to wear on COLLEGE CAMPUS make you look ELEGANT?
What brands and what kind of clothes make a female undergraduate student look elegant on a college campus?
I hope to have answers from both guys and girls. Thanks.
A: J.Crew, Ralph Lauren.
Q: What is the offense for carrying a gun onto a college campus?
Im writing a paper on concealed weapon laws in regards to college campuses. I want to know, currently, what would you be charged with if you were to be caught with a weapon on campus? I think i remember hearing it was a class three felony... what exactly is the time this charge would entail? basically im looking for what you would be charged with if you brought a gun on campus and the maximum sentence that charge could carry.
thank you
ohhh well i forget that its probably different for every state. i was speaking of the US as a whole...oh well
A: In what state?
In Missouri, it's a class D felony to carry a firearm into any school, for instance.
Q: What should I pay a math tutor here on a college campus?
Hi, I would like to ask an SI (Student Instructor) Math Tutor to give me private math tutoring lessons. He is also a student at my college, and a 19- going on 20- year old sophomore. (I am a freshman). He would be tutoring me in a Calculus level course. He did very well in his Calculus II class last year and has thus been certified to teach other students who need additional help in the Calculus course. His experience in College mathematics level tutoring, I believe, however is really only limited to one full year. I would like to pay him for private one-on-one tutoring sessions. What do you think would be a reasonable price to pay him for tutoring once a week, right here on campus?
A: When I was Tutor in college I used to ask for $15 dollars an hour for one-on-one tutor. I wasn't very strict about payment, I asked that much so that they would know my time was valuable. When I did group rates I'd go between $15 to $25 and have the students split the expense between themselves and keep the group less than 8.
I'd say anything less than 5 dollars an hour is insulting, mostly because it says how much his time is worth it to you.
7 dollars says that I'm willing to take advantage of you.
9 dollars says this is really really important to me, but I don't have a lot of money, lets negotiate.
15 dollars says, I have the money and I expect you to be worth every penny.
At least from my perspective.
Q: What do you think the biggest saftey issues are on a college campus?
Hearing all the talk about how to prevent the next mass shooting in college got me wondering what are people doing to prevent the next rape or alcohol poisoning on campus. As tragic as the VT shootings were we have to put it in perspective. Events like this are extremely rare which is why it is news. People want to fix the biggest tragedies but there are even more tragedies that occur each day that are more worrysome to an individual than this is.
I am wondering why the attention is not being given to fix more glaring saftey issues on college campuses than the trying to stop the most random and seldom problems on it.
A: The idea that to be safe everyone must be disarmed. The only flaw in that theory is criminals by definition do not obey rules and will bring firearms on to the campus. Now they have free reign over the students there and can do their work as they wish. It's obvious the police aren't going to come and help until it's all over.
Q: What is the first offender of posseion of a stolen weapon on college campus?
What is the charge for possession of a stolen weapon on a college campus when it is your first time getting in trouble ever? And the owner of the gun claim that it is his gun at the trail, will my charges be drop?
The age is 20. What if the owner of the gun claims the gun at trail?
A: First of all what is your age?It makes adifference.
I dont know the laws of all states but possession of a hand gun on a University is a felony, then poessession of a stolen hand gun is another charge,if you are under the age of 21 there may be other charges also..
Q: What types of material evidence could be found around a college campus that would say something about students?
What types of material evidence could be found around a college campus that would say something about students behavior? Archaeological evidence (so it would have to be something the students leave behind).
And maybe what could be studied to do a comparative analysis (undergraduate students vs. graduate, male vs. female, off-campus vs. on-campus, etc.) of behavior based off material evidence?
Any suggestions on how to make it comparative?
A: Cigarette butts
Coffee cups
Food wrappers
You would only be able to study an increase/decrease of consumption and variety based on the above noted pieces however.
Q: Could you get in trouble for having firearm paraphernalia on a college campus?
I will be attending my freshmen year of college in fall. Im a gun-enthusiast of sorts and more often than not I have in my possession gun magazines(books) firearm manuals and frequent websites with firearm related articles etcetera, could I get into big trouble if any with school for doing/having these on campus that I study in my free time.
I will be living in a dormroom on campus for two years maybe more.
A: No, you shouldn't. When you arrive talk to the RA, Resident Assistant, about your interest and the stuff that you have. That way they won't think you are trying to hide anything like someone who really has a problem would.
Q: Do You Think College Students Should Be Allowed To Carry Concealed Firearms On Campus?
This is a very debatable topic. Whether or not you have a gun carrying license most college campuses ban all firearms, so you would be convicted of a felony if found out to be carrying a gun on campus.
Do you think that students with the proper license and qualifications should be allowed to carry their guns on campus? Mind you these are adults and not elementary and high school students.
*Note - For most states to be able to carry a concealed weapon the age is 21. So no 18-20 year olds would be allowed to carry.
A: Yes.
What is it about people today? Why are they so deathly afraid of taking responsibility for their own defense? All the arguments I've seen so far on this issue are completely ludicrous. First of all, if someone wants to bring a gun to campus and shoot you, they are going to shoot you. There's not a damn thing you can do about it, and no "LAW" is going to save you. Second, if someone did decide they were going to shoot you, who the hell do you think is going to jump in front of that bullet for you? Do you understand that no one is going to save your sorry ass, including the police? The only option you have is to protect yourself. Period! And if he has a gun, and you don't, then I guess your screwed aren't you? Let me say this one more time so it sinks in; NO ONE IS GOING TO SAVE YOU, ONLY YOU CAN SAVE YOURSELF. That's how it is, get over it. For proof that armed citizens save lives read this article about a woman and part time security guard who was attending church when a maniac burst in and started blowing people away. She had a concealed weapons permit and was carrying that day. She shot the guy and stopped him cold before he slaughtered everyone in the room. I GUESS ITS A GOOD THING SOMEBODY HAD A GUN, ISN'T IT!

Q: Why teenagers should not be allowed to use cell phones in the college campus?
This is 4 my English debate:Against the topic--Teenagers should be allowed 2 use cell phones in the college campus.
A: How it is so easy to text your exam questions to someone and them text the answers back!! All phones should be out of sight during class. In between classes? They really can't say whether you can or not.
