Q: Will the colleges in California accept December2008 Sat Scores?
I heard from many people that the last Sat score colleges will consider are Decembers. And I checked on collegeboard that California colleges applicants are due on Nov 31.

Q: Where can I get the scholarships details of all California colleges from single source?
In each college there may be more than 20 scholarships offered. There are about 600 colleges. I want all the details of each scholarship. Is there any free single source to locate all these?

A: You want College Board. They have a free scholarship search, and info about schools, as well as planning guides. It is as close as you can get to a one-stop shop for all your school prep needs. It is a good idea to talk to your school's counslor, but do not count on them to do all the work for you. Good luck! Try this: http://www.collegeboard.com/student/pay/ this is the scholarship page, but don't forget to check out the other stuff too.

Q: Are California colleges better overall than other states?
My question is, are CA colleges better than other states, in general. Specifically public universities. For example the CSUs. I realize that most states aren't big enough to have 2 levels of colleges (UC and CSU). So would going to a CSU be better than going to most other state colleges, the fact that it's not a UC and just a CSU notwithstanding.

A: I truthfully love California in general but it's not fair to say that California's colleges are better. That is an unbelievable thought that can never be backed up by quantifiable evidence.

Q: What Southern California colleges have environmental science masters degree programs?
Looking to go to school in Southern California. I am looking for an "ace in the hole" somewhere in Southern California. Does anyone know any good ones?

A: Cal State Fullerton has a Masters of Science in Environmental Science. It's affordable too :> If you're looking for something a little different, Cal State San Bernardino has a Masters of Arts in Environmental Education. Just thought I'd throw that in.

Q: Anyone live in california knows about good colleges?
I am going to be a senior in high school and I am planning to go to a college in california because my dad is in military so I get to go to free college or something. I am thinking to be a Registered Nurse. Do you know really good college? I am not a A+ student ok

A: check out the California state university system. not the University of California system. the CSU schools have nursing programs while the UC's don't. Most programs are impacted, which means that there are more applicants than spaces available. Private universities might me a better choice for you because they may offer you scholarships for being out of state, and their nursing programs aren't as impacted. there are a ton of universities here in California, so pick an area you want to go to school in, southern california, northern, coast, etc. and then go from there. you don't have to worry about prestige when going into nursing, so go where you get the most scholarship money/ military aid because debt sucks. california is a great place to have a nursing career, I think the entire nation has nursing shortages right now! best of luck.

Q: Are there any easy colleges or universities to get into in California?
I live in New Jersey, and i wanna go to college in California, but i have a low GPA, so does anyone know of any?

A: Most of the CSU colleges are easy to get into -- but they aren't very good. The UC schools are difficult to get into. As an East Coast person who spent four years at the University of California, I can tell you that California is not all it is cracked up to be. I hated it there.

Q: Which California Colleges/Universities have major of interior designing?
I live in La Habra(Orange County) and i dont want to be far from home. Is there any interior design schools within my area? Please help me!

A: Check the ASID website. http://www.accredit-id.org/accreditedprograms.html#california Those are all the accredited programs in California. Remember, in most states, you need to be a graduate of one of thee programs to be licensed/certified as an Interior Designer. Pay no attention to other accrediting bodies...this is the one that counts.
